RULES & POLICIES
Campground safety is the top priority at Pine Hollow Campground. All campers must follow these rules and use common sense at all times. Pine Hollow Campground reserves the right to amend, interpret, and enforce rules at any time. Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
GENERAL RULES
All campers must check in at the office prior to entering the campground
Speed limit is 5 MPH for all vehicles and devices at all times
Office hours are 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Children must be supervised at all times
No bike riding after dark
No smoking in any park buildings or the playground (please dispose of cigarette butts properly)
*Pine Hollow Campground is a drug-free property. The use of recreational drugs, legal or otherwise, is prohibited and will result in immediate removal without refund. Under Vermont law, consumption of cannabis is prohibited in places of public accommodation (18 V.S.A. §4230a)
Washing vehicles or campers on campground property is prohibited
No off-road vehicles are permitted (including golf carts, mini bikes, dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, or 4-wheelers)
No electric vehicle or personal device charging using campground electrical hookups or outlets
Pine Hollow Campground does not assume the role of night watchman and may not be staffed overnight
Management reserves the right to enter campsites to maintain utilities or enforce campground rules
Guests may not assume an activity is permitted and must check with management for approval
*It is a violation of Vermont health regulations to dump wastewater on the ground
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is 1:00 PM or later
Check-out time is no later than 11:00 AM
Early check-in (if available): $3 per hour before 1:00 PM – fees higher on holidays
Late check-out: $5 per hour after 11:00 AM – fees higher on holidays
Campers may check in until 9:00 PM
GUESTS
All guests must check in at the office upon arrival.
Daily visitors: $3 per person (must leave by 10:00 PM) – fees higher on holidays
Overnight visitors: $6 per person – fees higher on holidays
Holiday weekends: $5 daily / $10 overnight per person
SWIMMING
Swimming is at your own risk
No lifeguards on duty
All children must be supervised at all times
No swimming after dark
PETS
Maximum of two (2) pets per site, unless approved by management
Pets must be leashed at all times
Pets may not be left unattended
Immediate cleanup of pet waste is required or a $25 fee will be charged
Pets are not permitted in bathhouses
Noisy or aggressive pets will not be tolerated
Management may require removal of pets or guests without refund
Pet owners must carry a current rabies certificate
QUIET HOURS
Quiet Time is strictly enforced from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
GARBAGE
All garbage must be placed in dumpsters or recycling bins
Large items (TVs, furniture, appliances, rugs, mattresses, etc.) may not be disposed of in dumpsters and will incur a removal fee
Please help keep the campground clean
BATHHOUSE
Please clean up after yourself
Only flush toilet paper — no wipes, diapers, or paper products
Do not wash dishes or clothing in sinks or showers
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Report any issues to the office immediately
CAMPSITES & CAMPFIRES
Maximum of four (4) people per site; additional guests incur a $3 fee per person
Campsite boundaries are utility pedestal to utility pedestal
Campfires must be contained in designated fire rings and never left unattended
Fire rings may not be used for garbage
Fill in any holes or trenches created during your stay
Leave your campsite in the condition you found it
Voices carry at night — please be respectful
Maximum of two (2) vehicles per site
Pine Hollow Campground reserves the right to refuse service to anyone
E-BIKES
This policy applies to all electric bicycles, motor-assisted bicycles, and battery-powered personal mobility devices. E-bikes are permitted on campground roads only
No riding on grass, campsites, wooded areas, trails, or near the pond
Riders must stay to the right side of the road
Low / Eco mode only - Maximum speed: 5 MPH
No racing, weaving, or reckless behavior
Riders under 16 must be supervised by an adult
One rider per bike unless designed for passengers
Helmets are strongly recommended
Riding allowed daylight hours only — no riding after dusk
Yield to pedestrians at all times
No riding near occupied campsites
Reckless riding results in immediate loss of privileges
Charging e-bikes is not permitted using campground electrical outlets
Use of e-bikes is at the rider’s own risk. Pine Hollow Campground assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or damage related to e-bike use
Failure to follow these rules may result in removal from the campground without refund
WI-FI
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the park\
No password required
Intended for basic browsing and email
Service is not guaranteed due to wooded terrain
FIREWOOD
Per Vermont law, firewood must be purchased in-state unless heat-treated with certification
Firewood is available for purchase at $9 per bag/Kindling $4 per bag
After-hours firewood may be purchased using the honor box located at the office
FINAL NOTE
Pine Hollow Campground is a quiet, family-friendly, recreational campground. Respect for fellow campers, staff, and the natural environment is required at all times.
